Aerosmith and Yungblud have released a fresh version of their track “Wild Woman,” now featuring country superstar Lainey Wilson, blending rock, punk energy and southern soul into a powerful new collaboration. The track is available on all major digital streaming platforms as of Friday, December 5, 2025.
The song originally appeared on the One More Time EP — the first collaborative record between Aerosmith and Yungblud, released in November. The new version arrives following Wilson’s much-praised duet performance of “Dream On” with Steven Tyler at his annual Jam for Janie charity concert earlier this year.
According to Yungblud, the idea to invite Wilson onto the track came immediately after her standout performance at the February benefit show.
“I’m really hyped to have Lainey Wilson jump on this record with us. I’ve been a fan of her for a while — her story is inspirational,” Yungblud said in a statement. “We needed a wild woman and we for sure got one!”
Following Wilson’s studio vocal session, Aerosmith’s Joe Perry returned to add new guitar parts, enhancing the track with a sharper, heavier sound that complements Wilson’s commanding vocal energy.
Wilson, already one of the biggest names in modern country music, continues to expand her genre reach. Known for crossover hits and award-winning performances, her involvement signals a strong fusion moment between rock and country — a blend that echoes the legacy sound of Aerosmith.
The release also follows a busy year for Wilson, who recently earned multiple CMA and ACM wins and continues her sold-out headlining tour.
The original EP, One More Time, debuted at #9 on the Billboard 200 and #1 on the Official U.K. Albums Chart, marking a major commercial success for the multi-generational collaboration between Aerosmith and Yungblud.
The updated version of “Wild Woman (Lainey Wilson Version)” is already trending on social media, with fans praising the vocal chemistry and sonic evolution of the track.
