Beyoncé has officially made financial history. According to Forbes, the 44-year-old global icon is now a billionaire, becoming the fifth musician ever to reach the milestone. The achievement places her among an elite group that includes her husband Jay-Z, Bruce Springsteen, Taylor Swift, and Rihanna.
Forbes previously estimated Beyoncé’s net worth at around $780 million earlier this year. Following a blockbuster 2025 that included massive tour revenue, endorsements, and business income, the outlet now lists her as a full-fledged billionaire. She reportedly earned $148 million before taxes in 2025, ranking her as the world’s third-highest-paid musician for the year.
A major driver behind the financial leap has been Beyoncé’s dominance on the global stage. Her Renaissance World Tour in 2023 grossed nearly $600 million, making it one of the highest-earning tours of all time. She followed that success with a bold genre shift. In 2024, Beyoncé released Cowboy Carter, her eighth studio album, which marked her move into country music. The project earned Album of the Year at the 67th Grammy Awards and fueled the highest-grossing concert tour of 2025.
According to Forbes estimates, the Cowboy Carter tour generated more than $400 million in ticket sales, plus an additional $50 million in merchandise, setting a new record as the highest-grossing country tour of all time.
Beyond touring, Beyoncé’s earnings were boosted by high-profile appearances and brand deals. She headlined the NFL’s 2024 Christmas Day halftime show, which Forbes estimates earned her around $50 million. She also appeared in major Levi’s advertising campaigns, reportedly adding another $10 million to her income.
Beyoncé’s wealth extends far beyond music. In 2008, she founded Parkwood Entertainment, which oversees her music releases, films, documentaries, and tours—allowing her to maintain full creative and financial control. She launched her athleisure brand Ivy Park in collaboration with Adidas in 2016. Before ending the partnership in 2023, the venture reportedly earned her around $20 million. In 2024, she expanded into new industries with the launch of her haircare brand Cécred and her premium spirits label SirDavis Whisky.
Beyoncé’s rise began in the 1990s as a member of Destiny’s Child before she launched a solo career with Dangerously in Love in 2003. More than two decades later, she stands as one of the most influential—and now wealthiest—artists in history.
Despite her financial success, Beyoncé has said money is not her main focus. In a 2024 interview, she emphasized the importance of personal boundaries and family, saying, “No amount of money is worth my peace.”
With historic achievements both artistically and financially, Beyoncé’s billion-dollar milestone cements her legacy as not just a cultural icon—but a powerhouse business leader.
