Actress Blake Lively was photographed arriving alone at the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York on February 11, 2026, for a settlement conference in her ongoing legal battle with It Ends With Us co-star Justin Baldoni.
While Baldoni was accompanied by his wife, Lively stepped out of a black SUV solo, wearing a pale green suit paired with a pink collared shirt and a matching handbag. Baldoni opted for an olive-green overcoat, grey trousers, and a cream scarf.
The conference, overseen by U.S. Magistrate Judge Sarah L. Cave, lasted six hours but ended without resolution. Baldoni’s attorney, Bryan Freedman, confirmed that the parties failed to reach a deal. “I do. We’re looking forward to it,” he said when asked if he believed the case would proceed to trial.
Settlement conferences are a routine step in federal civil litigation, designed to determine whether disputes can be resolved without trial.
The dispute began when Lively filed a lawsuit accusing Baldoni of sexual misconduct during the filming of It Ends With Us. Baldoni denied the allegations and filed a countersuit, which was later dismissed.
The case has drawn significant public attention, given the high-profile nature of both actors and the popularity of the film adaptation.
With settlement talks unsuccessful, the case is now set to proceed to trial on May 18, 2026. Both parties are expected to present their arguments in what will likely be a closely watched courtroom battle.
