Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Season 1 Drops December 4—New Maps, Weapons, and Zombies Revealed

Call of Duty Black Ops 7 Season 1 is shaping up to be the most expansive seasonal update in franchise history. While the game officially launches on November 14, developer Treyarch has already outlined key content arriving in Season 1. The update will feature new multiplayer maps, weapons, and Zombies experiences, with a tentative release window set for early to mid-December. Based on previous cadence, Season 1 is expected to go live on December 4, three weeks after launch.

Maps, Weapons, and Zombies Additions

Season 1 will introduce six new multiplayer maps, including remastered fan favorites and original designs:

  • Nuketown (available November 20)
  • Fate (Menendez compound, Nicaragua)
  • Utopia (abandoned Guild facility, Australia)
  • Odysseus (inspired by BO2 mission)
  • Standoff (Black Ops 2 remake)
  • Meltdown (Black Ops 2 remake)
  • Yakei (Japan-based, similar to Vertigo)

Visual upgrades will bring Nuketown in line with Black Ops 7’s aesthetic.

Confirmed new weapons include:

  • Maddox: Bullpup AR with high fire rate (returning from BO4)
  • Crossbow: Single-shot bolt weapon
  • Ballistic Knife: Lethal slot throwing knife

Four additional weapons are expected but not yet revealed.

For Zombies, Season 1 expands on the launch map Ashes of the Damned with:

  • Astra Malorum: New round-based map
  • Exit 115: Survival map
  • Zarya Cosmodrome: Survival map

Survival maps are condensed versions of the launch experience, designed for endless waves.

Zombies fans will benefit from expanded survival options and a new round-based map, enhancing replayability and cooperative depth. Seasonal events and cosmetics will also drive engagement through the Battle Pass system.
