Scottish pop-rock legends Deacon Blue and synth-pop icons Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark (OMD) are set to perform at Lincoln Castle in summer 2026 as part of an exciting lineup of live concerts organized by Cuffe & Taylor in partnership with Lincolnshire County Council.
The much-anticipated performances will bring two of Britain’s most celebrated bands to the historic venue, continuing the castle’s tradition of hosting major open-air shows.

OMD will headline on June 11, performing hits from their Summer of Hits Tour, joined by Peter Hook & The Light and rising indie talent Andrew Cushin.
The group, with a career spanning more than four decades and over 40 million records sold, is best known for iconic tracks such as Enola Gay, Souvenir, and If You Leave.
Two weeks later, Deacon Blue will take the stage on June 26, joined by Liverpool’s Lightning Seeds. The Scottish band, who have achieved two UK No. 1 albums, are expected to perform fan favorites like Chocolate Girl, Wages Day, and Fergus Sings The Blues.

The promoter added that the upcoming season will feature a diverse range of genres, catering to both pop and rock fans across generations.
The inclusion of Deacon Blue and OMD reinforces Lincoln Castle’s growing reputation as a premier UK live music destination.
Following successful 2024 shows from Madness, Tom Grennan, and Billy Ocean, the 2026 lineup aims to attract thousands of visitors and boost Lincolnshire’s tourism economy.
The collaboration between Lincolnshire County Council and Live Nation’s Cuffe & Taylor has positioned the castle as a key cultural landmark for live performances.
Tickets for all shows go on general sale at 10:00 GMT on November 7, 2025, via official platforms.
Additional headliners, including a potential return from Madness, are expected to be announced in the coming weeks.
