Sean “Diddy” Combs is in trouble again — this time behind bars. Just weeks after beginning his 50-month sentence at FCI Fort Dix, the disgraced music mogul has reportedly been cited for violating prison rules following an alleged unauthorized three-person call and claims of homemade alcohol possession.
According to prison documents obtained by The Blast, Diddy was accused of making a three-way call on November 3, a clear breach of Bureau of Prisons (BOP) communication policy.
Officials say Diddy phoned an unidentified woman and asked her to connect another person, described as “the digital person,” to discuss a potential media statement to The New York Times.
The call reportedly shifted to conversations about a planned visit — where Diddy allegedly requested “200 singles” in cash to be brought in. The reason for the request remains unclear, as inmates can only use coins for vending machines.
When confronted, Diddy claimed he didn’t know the rule prohibited multi-person calls. He reportedly told prison staff he never received a full orientation or handbook upon arrival.
“He argued it was a legal conversation, not misconduct,” a source told CBS News.
Prison officials, however, viewed the act as a “serious offense,” recommending a 90-day suspension of his phone and commissary privileges.
A representative for Diddy, Juda Engelmayer, denied any wrongdoing, saying the conversation was attorney-client privileged and related to ongoing legal matters.
“It was a procedural call initiated by one of his attorneys. There was nothing improper,” Engelmayer said, adding that Diddy has since taken a job in the chapel library, describing his work as “warm, respectful, and rewarding.”
Still, the violation comes amid fresh reports that the rapper was also accused of possessing homemade alcohol — a fermented mix allegedly made with soda, apples, and sugar.
Diddy’s reps swiftly denied those claims, saying he was never caught with alcohol and that he remains focused on self-improvement while enrolled in a drug rehabilitation program that could shorten his sentence by up to a year.
“His only focus is becoming the best version of himself and returning to his family,” Engelmayer said.
Despite the denials, insiders told The Blast that Diddy’s attitude in prison has been “unchanged,” describing him as “acting like a king” despite his new surroundings.
Whether these alleged violations lead to further punishment remains to be seen — but Diddy’s time at Fort Dix is already off to a rocky start.
