মুম্বাই : গত কয়েক মাসে ভারতের বিভিন্ন অঞ্চলে একাধিকবার ভূকম্পন অনুভূত হয়েছে। আর আজ একই দিনে দুবার ভুমিকম্পে কেঁপে উঠলো ভারতের প্রাণকেন্দ্র মহারাষ্ট্র। আজ সকাল ৭টা বেজে ১৬ মিনিট নাগাদ মহারাষ্ট্রের সাতারা জেলায় কোয়েনার প্রথম ভূকম্পন অনুভূত হয়।
ভূমিকম্পের কেন্দ্র ছিলো মাটি থেকে ৮ কিলোমিটার গভীরে। পরে জানা যায় রিখটার স্কেলে কম্পনের মাত্রা ছিল ২.৬। আর সকাল পেরোতে না পেরোতেই আরও একবার দুপুর ৩টে ৪৭ মিনিট নাগাদ কেঁপে ওঠে মহারাষ্ট্রের পালাগর। রিখটার স্কেলে কম্পনের তীব্রতা ছিল ২.৫।
তবে একই দিনের এই দুবার ভূমিকম্পে এখনও পর্যন্ত কোনও ক্ষয়ক্ষতি হয়নি বলে সূত্রের খবর। তবে এই ঘটনার পর এখনো পর্যন্ত তীব্র আতঙ্কে রয়েছে মুম্বাইয়ের আম জনতা।
