Fran Drescher is already imagining herself playing a special role in one of Hollywood’s most talked-about relationships. The Nanny alum revealed she would happily officiate Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner’s wedding — if the couple ever asked her.
Speaking with E! News at the 2026 Actor Awards, Drescher said, “If they asked me to. I do officiate gay weddings, so I certainly can branch out and officiate this if they wanted me to.” She quickly added with a laugh, “I have a feeling they’re not going to ask.”
The actress, 68, stars alongside Chalamet in the Oscar-nominated film Marty Supreme, where she plays his character’s mother. She described her co-star as “sweet, vulnerable, and charming,” recalling how she felt protective of him during a press event atop the Empire State Building when he admitted he was afraid of heights.
Chalamet, 30, and Jenner, 28, first sparked dating rumors in April 2023. Their romance became public later that year when they were spotted kissing at a Beyoncé concert in Los Angeles, followed by a PDA-filled outing at the US Open.
By Jenner’s 27th birthday in August 2024, sources described the relationship as “very serious.” Insiders told PEOPLE that Jenner was “incredibly happy” and had “never been in love like this before.” Chalamet was praised for being discreet, supportive, and “everything Kylie deserves.”
The couple has since made several high-profile appearances, including walking red carpets during awards season. Jenner was in the audience at the 2026 Golden Globes when Chalamet won Best Actor in a Motion Picture Comedy for Marty Supreme. During his acceptance speech, he gave a heartfelt shout-out: “For my parents, for my partner, I love you. Thank you so much.” Jenner was seen smiling proudly in response.
Drescher’s comments highlight her growing bond with Chalamet, both on and off screen. “He’s a darling and a very talented man,” she said, adding that her maternal instincts often kick in when working with him. While Chalamet and Jenner have not announced any engagement plans, Drescher’s playful offer adds another layer of intrigue to one of Hollywood’s most closely watched romances.
