Harry Styles Turns London Into His Playground as Meltdown Festival Curator

Harry Styles has been announced as the curator of this year’s landmark Meltdown Festival at London’s Southbank Centre. The Grammy-winning artist will headline the event with a special concert ahead of his Together, Together tour dates at Wembley Stadium this summer.

A Celebration of British Talent

Organizers revealed that Styles aims to highlight emerging British talent across genres including pop, soul, rock, and the underground scene. Styles joins a prestigious list of past curators, including David Bowie, Nile Rodgers, Patti Smith, Yoko Ono, and Little Simz. The Southbank Centre, which first opened in 1951, is marking its 75th anniversary this year, making the 2026 edition of Meltdown especially significant. Mark Ball, artistic director of the Southbank Centre, praised the choice: “Harry Styles is an iconic British artist with a global influence whose impact extends across artistic disciplines, generations and borders.
