Iconic Movie Cars Hit the Auction Block—From Fast & Furious to Jurassic Park

Movie magic is going under the hammer. The Pop Central Museum in Étréchy, France, just south of Paris, is parting with its entire collection of film and television vehicles in one of Europe’s most ambitious pop-culture auctions. From November 21 to 28, 2025, Bonhams will host the sale, giving fans and collectors a rare chance to own a piece of cinematic history.

Cars That Defined Pop Culture

The lineup spans decades of entertainment, featuring screen-used and replica vehicles from blockbuster franchises:

• Fast & Furious: including a Mitsubishi Evo from 2 Fast 2 Furious and off-road builds from Fast & Furious 7.
• John Wick: Keanu Reeves’ Ford Mustang.
• Jurassic Park: a 1991 Ford Explorer recreated from the film.
• Ghostbusters, Men in Black, Back to the Future, Dukes of Hazzard: all represented.
• Replicas from Knight Rider (KITT), The A-Team, Batman, Herbie the Love Bug, and James Bond.

For fans of retro TV, a 1974 Ford Gran Torino styled like Starsky & Hutch and a 1989 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am modeled after KITT are standout highlights.

Beyond Cars

It’s not just vehicles. A life-sized Tyrannosaurus rex statue—expected to fetch up to €60,000—adds humor and spectacle to the auction.

Museum founder Franck Galiègue, who documented the collection on his YouTube channel, spent years curating both authentic screen-used models and expertly crafted tributes. Bonhams estimates range from a few thousand euros to six figures, depending on rarity and provenance.
