Influencer Lorna Luxe has received an outpouring of support from celebrities and fans after announcing the death of her husband, John Andrews, at age 64.
Luxe, 43, shared the news with her 1.7 million Instagram followers, revealing that she was holding Andrews’ hand when he passed away — “exactly what he wanted.” She described herself as “heartbroken” and recalled his final words: “rough but in love.”
The couple had been married for 16 years after meeting in Brighton and later settling in Warwickshire. Luxe often shared glimpses of their life together, making Andrews a familiar presence to her followers.
Messages of sympathy poured in from stars and fellow influencers. Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague wrote she was “beyond sorry for your loss.” Holly Willoughby sent “love and condolences,” while Rochelle Humes added: “I love you my darling and I’m so sorry. We are all here.”
Andrews was diagnosed with stage three adrenal cancer in April 2023. After initial remission, the cancer spread to his brain six months later. Luxe documented his health struggles, including hospitalizations for organ failure and neutropenic sepsis in late 2025. Despite setbacks, he returned home before Christmas, where Luxe said he was “so much happier.”
Born Lorna Andrews, Luxe grew up in Greater Manchester and worked as cabin crew before rising to fame on Instagram in the late 2010s. Known for blending high street and luxury fashion, she became one of the UK’s pioneering influencers.
Her career wasn’t without challenges. Luxe revealed she and Andrews once accumulated £50,000 in debt to fund their content creation. That gamble paid off when brand partnerships brought significant earnings, with one collaboration generating £80,000 in a month. Designers even coined the “Lorna Luxe effect” to describe how her endorsements could sell out products instantly.
As Luxe mourns her husband, the influencer community and fans continue to surround her with compassion. Her openness about Andrews’ illness and their relationship has resonated deeply, making his passing feel personal to many who followed their journey.
