Los Angeles Rapper Clinton Adams Charged With Multiple Felony Sex Crimes in Wildfire-Affected Area

Key Points

  • Los Angeles rapper and influencer Clinton Adams faces multiple felony charges, including forcible rape.

  • Prosecutors allege two women were assaulted in a deserted area left vacant after January wildfires.

  • Adams has pleaded not guilty and remains in custody on nearly $1.5 million bail.

  • If convicted, he could face up to 90 years to life in California state prison.

Felony Charges Filed Against Local Rapper and Influencer

Clinton Adams, a Los Angeles-based rapper and social media personality known online as “Clintnlord,” has been formally charged with a series of serious felony offenses, Los Angeles County prosecutors confirmed this week.

The charges stem from allegations that Adams sexually assaulted two women last summer in an isolated location that had been abandoned following destructive wildfires earlier in the year.

Prosecutors Outline Alleged Attacks

According to the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office, Adams is charged with three counts of forcible rape and one count of assault with intent to commit rape.

Court records indicate the first alleged assault occurred on June 29, while the second incident reportedly took place over August 7 and 8. Prosecutors allege Adams lured both women to the remote area, which had remained largely empty after residents were displaced by January wildfires.

The Los Angeles Police Department investigated the allegations after both women came forward and identified Adams as the suspect.

Custody Status and Potential Sentence

Adams pleaded not guilty to all charges in late November and is currently being held in custody. Bail has been set at approximately $1.5 million, reflecting the severity of the allegations.

If convicted on all counts, Adams could face a sentence of up to 90 years to life in California state prison. A preliminary hearing in Los Angeles Superior Court is scheduled for January 21.

District Attorney Condemns Alleged Crimes

Los Angeles County District Attorney Nathan Hochman addressed the case in a statement reported by ABC7, calling the alleged acts “despicable.” Hochman also commended the victims for coming forward, noting the difficulty of reporting sexual violence.

Authorities have indicated they believe additional victims may exist and are urging anyone with relevant information to contact law enforcement.

Why the Case Matters

The allegations have drawn attention to safety concerns in disaster-affected urban areas, where abandoned or damaged neighborhoods can become vulnerable to criminal activity. Prosecutors say the case underscores the importance of continued vigilance and community reporting in the aftermath of natural disasters.

What Happens Next?

Adams will remain in custody as the case moves toward its preliminary hearing in January. Prosecutors are continuing their investigation, and authorities say additional charges are possible if new victims come forward. The legal proceedings are expected to be closely followed as the case develops.
