Marvel Rivals Brings Back Season 1 Battle Pass — Rare Skins Return for Limited Time

Marvel Rivals players have reason to celebrate: as part of the game’s first anniversary event, developer NetEase has officially brought back the Season 1 “Dark Hold” Battle Pass for a limited time. This highly requested return gives both new and veteran players a chance to unlock fan-favorite skins originally exclusive to the game’s launch season.

The Battle Pass is available from November 27, 2025, and will remain active until December 11, 2025, giving players a two-week window to collect rare cosmetics before they disappear again.

Season 1 “Dark Hold” Battle Pass Returns

The return of the Dark Hold Battle Pass brings back several of the most sought-after character skins in the game’s history. Popular cosmetics included in the pass are:

• Loki – All-Butcher

• Moon Knight – Blood

• Rocket Raccoon – Bounty Hunter

• Magneto – King Magnus

• Peni Parker – Blue Tarantula

• Namor – Savage Sub-Mariner

• Iron Man – Blood Edge

• Scarlet Witch – Emporium Matron

• Adam Warlock – Blood Soul

• Wolverine – Blood Berserker

The Battle Pass is priced at 990 Lattice (approximately $9.99), and players can earn back 600 Lattice by progressing through the rewards track. Those who missed these skins the first time now have a rare second chance.

Part of a Larger Anniversary Update

The Battle Pass return is just one part of the Marvel Rivals Anniversary Celebration, which launched today. Players who log in throughout the event can claim up to 2,100 free Units, along with a free Jeff the Land Shark – Business Suit skin.

The celebration also coincides with major gameplay additions, including:

• A brand-new 18v18 Annihilation mode

• A new Grand Garden map

• Black Friday discounts on in-store cosmetics

• New premium bundles featuring Venom and Blade

NetEase previously revived the Season 0 Battle Pass in May after popular demand, and many of its items later became earnable through special event rewards. Players are curious to see whether similar treatment awaits these Season 1 skins after this event closes.
