Fans of Michael Jackson got their first look at the highly anticipated biopic Michael on Thursday, November 6, with the release of a teaser trailer. The film stars Jaafar Jackson, nephew of the late pop icon, portraying Michael Jackson during key moments of his early solo career. Lionsgate will release the film in theaters on April 24, 2026, after multiple production delays.
The teaser showcases Jaafar Jackson in iconic Michael Jackson costumes and performing signature choreography. The biopic also features Juliano Krue Valdi as young Michael, Colman Domingo as Joe Jackson, Nia Long as Katherine Jackson, Kat Graham as Diana Ross, and Miles Teller as lawyer John Branca.
