Monster Mia blends spooky adventure with heartfelt themes of friendship and self-acceptance.
Monster Mia, a CGI animated feature from Arx Anima, is scheduled for theatrical release in October 2026, with distribution deals already secured across Europe and Asia. The film will be presented at the American Film Market in Los Angeles in November 2025. Directed by a team of seasoned animators from Austria, Germany, and Spain, the story follows Mia, a human girl sent to Rotwood Academy, where she must team up with monsters to stop a sinister plot. The film’s themes of self-discovery and inclusion make it a timely family-friendly offering for the Halloween season.
Dunja Bernatzky, Arx Anima:
“Monster Mia offers humor, adventure, and emotional depth — all wrapped in a quirky monster school setting.”
Solveig Langeland, Sola Media:
“It’s a cool, spooky adventure — perfect for Halloween — with meaningful values like confidence and positivity.”
