Roan, 28, filmed herself addressing a group of photographers and fans who she said were “harassing” her as she tried to go to dinner. In the viral video, she explained that she had repeatedly asked them to leave her alone. “I’m just trying to go to dinner, and I’ve asked these people several times to get away from me,” she said. “All of you, I’m asking you kindly to please leave me alone and stop following me and harassing me.”

Roan, who has been attending Paris Fashion Week, described feeling “disregarded as a human” during the encounter.

Kahan’s Response

On March 10, Kahan defended Roan in a series of Instagram Stories. “Maybe they should just idk leave her alone?” he wrote, sharing Billboard’s coverage of the incident. He added that some of the men claiming to be fans were actually scalpers. “They’re scummy, they’re manipulative, they’re parasitic, and, yeah. F— them, seriously. Don’t feel bad for them.”

Kahan elaborated further in a video, explaining that these individuals often trick casual observers into thinking artists are being rude to fans when, in reality, they are being pressured into signing items for resale.

Roan’s Past Comments

Roan has previously spoken about the challenges of fame. In a 2025 interview on the Outlaws with TS Madison podcast, she said she was often labeled a “villain” for expressing frustration with how pop stars are treated in public. “I’ve been treated better at my donut shop job than I have on a f—ing carpet,” she remarked.
