Disneyland fans can officially start planning their Halloween trips for next year. The resort has announced the 2026 dates for its wildly popular Oogie Boogie Bash, the annual after-hours Halloween party at Disney California Adventure that sells out every season.
The separately ticketed event is known for its exclusive character appearances, immersive treat trails, Halloween entertainment, parade performances, rare villains, and the chance for guests of all ages to wear costumes. With demand increasing every year, Disneyland is expanding party nights once again.
The event will take place on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays with 33 total party nights—the highest number yet. Each event runs from 6 PM to 11 PM, with mix-in park entry beginning at 3 PM.
The first dates begin just before the official launch of Disneyland’s Halloween season on August 21.
August: 18, 20, 23, 25, 27, 30
September: 1, 3, 6, 8, 10, 13, 15, 17, 20, 22, 24, 27, 29
October: 1, 4, 6, 8, 11, 13, 15, 18, 20, 22, 25, 27, 29, 31
The October dates closest to Halloween historically sell out fastest, along with Sunday nights and opening week.
Disney has not yet released ticket prices or on-sale dates. Based on prior years, tickets are expected to go on sale in late June 2026, with an early presale window for Magic Key holders before becoming available to the general public.
When sales open, interested guests will enter a waiting room and receive a randomized queue position. Disneyland recommends logging in early, especially if targeting high-demand dates.
Halloween is one of the busiest seasons at Disneyland Resort, particularly in October during school breaks. However, certain dates early in the season and weekday parties can offer lighter crowds.
Disney vacation planners recommend using a crowd prediction calendar before booking travel.
The event has become a fan favorite thanks to:
Rare villain meet & greets and interactive villain trails
Unique Halloween parade and entertainment exclusive to the party
Trick-or-treating for all ages
Limited park capacity and shorter ride waits
Creative costumes and themed photo ops
