Paul Weller Completes Ludlow Castle Concert Line-Up

Paul Weller has been announced as the final headline act for this summer’s Ludlow Castle concerts, completing a star-studded line-up. The former Jam frontman will take to the stage on 17 July, joining a roster of iconic performers set to light up the historic venue.

A Stellar Line-Up

This year’s Ludlow Castle series will feature seven other headline acts, including Rick Astley, Human League, Tom Grennan, The Streets, Richard Ashcroft, Scissor Sisters, and Snow Patrol. The event has quickly become one of the UK’s most anticipated summer music gatherings, with the number of dates steadily increasing since its launch four years ago.

Organisers Promise Bigger Things Ahead

Andy Smith of the Futuresound Group, which organizes the concerts, said the company is committed to building on its relationship with Ludlow Castle. “We’ll make next year’s concerts even bigger and even better,” he promised, highlighting the growing popularity of the event. Gemma England, general manager of Ludlow Castle, described Weller as a “legend” and said this year’s line-up is “shaping up to be another fantastic run of shows.”

Weller’s Enduring Influence

Weller, often referred to as the “Modfather,” first rose to fame with The Jam before forming The Style Council in 1982. His solo career has been equally prolific, with 17 albums released to date. A spokesperson for Future Sound praised him as a “figurehead of forward-thinking British songwriting” and “an indelible influence on over 50 years of British music.”

His performance at Ludlow Castle will be further elevated by special guests. Miles Kane, co-frontman of The Last Shadow Puppets, will join him, alongside Arctic Monkeys frontman Alex Turner and rising star Fiona-Lee.

A Historic Venue Meets Modern Music

The Ludlow Castle concerts have become a unique blend of history and contemporary culture. The medieval fortress provides a dramatic backdrop for live performances, offering audiences an unforgettable experience. With each passing year, the event has grown in scale and ambition, attracting both legendary acts and new talent.

Looking Ahead

With Paul Weller now confirmed, anticipation for the 2026 Ludlow Castle concerts is at an all-time high. Fans can expect a mix of nostalgia, innovation, and unforgettable performances from some of the biggest names in British music.
