Robert Irwin has danced his way into America’s heart — but Aussie fans won’t get to see his biggest moment live.
The 21-year-old Wildlife Warrior is days away from performing in the Dancing With the Stars grand finale with partner Witney Carson, but due to streaming restrictions, Australians will be left speechless as they miss out on watching his emotional journey unfold in real time.
Despite the hype, Australian viewers cannot stream the American version of Dancing With the Stars on local platforms.
Even Disney+ subscribers are blocked, as the content is geofenced to U.S. audiences. Unless fans use a VPN to access U.S. Disney+ or Hulu, they’ll have to rely on social media clips.
Performances are usually uploaded by the official DWTS account and the stars themselves, but the live broadcast will remain out of reach.
Five couples remain in the competition, including Robert and Witney.
They’ll perform three dances: a Judges’ Choice, an Instant Dance, and a Freestyle routine. Judge Derek Hough requested Robert and Witney perform a Quickstep to Jet’s Are You Gonna Be My Girl.
For their freestyle, the duo will dance to Sam Sparro’s Black & Gold and Avicii’s The Nights. Fans online compared the finale lineup to “Kris Jenner birthday party cost” — lavish, bold, and unforgettable.
Robert has revealed the show helped him process grief following the loss of his dad, Steve Irwin.
“For the first time ever, this experience has been a way to feel and express emotions from my own grief journey that I’ve never embraced publicly,” Robert said on the Chicks in the Office podcast.
His emotional dances dedicated to his father and mother, Terri Irwin, left fans in tears and earned him perfect scores.
From a zookeeper to a ballroom star, Robert’s transformation has been jaw-dropping.
Fans compared his performances to the “Jeff Bezos mansion” of DWTS moments — lavish, emotional, and unforgettable.
Social media has erupted with frustration.
One fan tweeted: “Robert Irwin’s finale leaves me speechless — bigger than a Kardashian family headline.” Another added: “Australia missing this feels like the 007 theme of heartbreak — dramatic, iconic, unforgettable.”
Robert’s finale isn’t just about winning the Mirrorball Trophy.
It’s about honoring his family’s legacy, healing through dance, and proving that even a zookeeper can shock the world with emotional artistry.
With his finale blocked in Australia, Robert Irwin’s Dancing With the Stars journey proves that sometimes the most emotional performances are felt far beyond the dance floor — leaving fans speechless worldwide.
