A new report suggests that Rosario Dawson could return as Claire Temple in Marvel’s upcoming Disney+ series Daredevil: Born Again. The rumor, shared by industry insider Daniel Richtman, claims Dawson has been in discussions with Marvel Studios about reprising the role.
This speculation follows Richtman’s earlier claim that Temple might also appear in Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Claire Temple was introduced in Daredevil Season 1 as a nurse at Metro-General Hospital who helps Matt Murdock after finding him injured. She quickly became a trusted ally, providing medical aid to vigilantes across New York.
Temple’s appearances spanned multiple series:
Her character served as a bridge across the Netflix Marvel shows, earning her the nickname “the Night Nurse” among fans.
While Marvel has not confirmed her involvement, Dawson has openly expressed enthusiasm about reprising the role. In February 2024, she responded to a fan on X (formerly Twitter): “Of course! #unfinishedbusiness.”
Marvel Studios has already reintroduced several Netflix-era characters, including Charlie Cox’s Daredevil and Jon Bernthal’s Punisher, into the MCU. Dawson’s return would further strengthen the connection between the Netflix shows and Marvel’s current slate of Disney+ series.
With Daredevil: Born Again in development, fans are eagerly awaiting official casting announcements. If Dawson returns, her character could once again serve as a vital link between street-level heroes in the MCU.
