A lighthearted moment involving Stefon Diggs and rapper Cardi B captured fans’ attention after the New England Patriots’ dominant 42–10 win over the New York Jets. Following the final whistle, Diggs was spotted scanning the stands at Gillette Stadium, trying to locate Cardi B, who had told him via FaceTime that she was heading down to the field to celebrate the victory. The exchange, recorded and shared widely on social media, quickly went viral for its comedic timing.
“Wait for me!” Cardi B could be heard saying on the call. Diggs, looking around in confusion, replied jokingly, “Y’all about to leave me?! Y’all about to leave the game?”
According to the woman holding the phone, the Grammy-winning rapper ultimately went back inside due to the cold weather, leaving Diggs laughing as the moment unfolded.
This is not the first time Cardi B has shown support for Diggs from the stands. The rapper first attended one of his games in November when the Patriots faced the Atlanta Falcons. During that appearance, she received VIP treatment and was seated near team ownership.
She has since been spotted at multiple Patriots games, including last week’s matchup against the Baltimore Ravens, reinforcing her visible presence during Diggs’ season with New England. The viral clip from the Jets game added another chapter to the couple’s high-profile relationship, which has frequently drawn attention both on and off the field.
Diggs and Cardi B made headlines again over the Christmas holiday after reports surfaced that the wide receiver did not spend the day with the rapper and their newborn son. Diggs instead spent Christmas with some of his other children. The situation sparked backlash from fans online, prompting Cardi B to respond directly on social media. In a video shared on X, she urged critics to calm down and stop attacking her personal life.
She reminded fans that she had recently given birth and emphasized that the public scrutiny had become overwhelming. Cardi B added that she wanted support rather than criticism as she prepared for an intense work schedule in the months ahead.
The rapper said January will mark the beginning of a demanding rehearsal period for her upcoming arena tour, which will require long hours away from home and family.
“I have so much work to do once January starts,” she said, explaining that rehearsals could stretch up to 10 to 12 hours a day. She urged fans to focus on the music and attend her tour rather than fueling relationship speculation.
For Diggs, the viral moment added a touch of humor to an otherwise emphatic Patriots victory. As New England continues its season, the wide receiver’s on-field performance — and occasional off-field moments — remain firmly in the public eye.
