After years of anticipation, Netflix has unveiled the full trailer for Stranger Things Season 5, offering fans their clearest look yet at the long-awaited grand finale. Set to debut in three release waves — beginning November 26, 2025, on Netflix — the final season marks the conclusion of one of television’s most celebrated sci-fi sagas.
The fifth and final season of Stranger Things will feature eight episodes, split across three release dates — November 26, December 25, and December 31, 2025. Following the shocking events of Season 4, the new trailer shows the Hawkins crew — Eleven (Millie Bobby Brown), Hopper (David Harbour), Joyce (Winona Ryder), Mike (Finn Wolfhard), Dustin (Gaten Matarazzo), Lucas (Caleb McLaughlin), and Will (Noah Schnapp) — regrouping to confront Vecna (Jamie Campbell Bower) and his growing army from the Upside Down.
The U.S. military’s presence in Hawkins adds further chaos, while Max (Sadie Sink) remains in a coma following her near-fatal encounter with Vecna.
Series creators Matt and Ross Duffer described Season 5 as “the emotional and visual culmination of everything we’ve built since 2016.”
Actor David Harbour (Hopper) noted in a Netflix interview, “Fans will see the characters they’ve grown with face their greatest test — not just against monsters, but within themselves.”
