‘Tell Me Lies’ Season 3 Gets Premiere Date — and a Major New Twist

Hulu has finally dropped the release date fans have been waiting for. The hit drama Tell Me Lies returns for Season 3 on January 13, 2026, premiering with its first two episodes before rolling out weekly on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+. The new season will feature eight episodes total — and it promises to turn up the emotional chaos between Lucy and Stephen like never before.

Grace Van Patten and Jackson White reprise their roles as Lucy Albright and Stephen DeMarco, whose messy, magnetic romance continues to unravel. According to Hulu’s official synopsis, the pair are “back together just in time for the spring semester” — but old betrayals and new scandals threaten to destroy what’s left of their fragile bond.

“While they promise things will be different this time, past indiscretions hinder their best intentions,” the logline teases. “Lucy soon finds herself embroiled in a controversy she wants nothing to do with.”

As the fallout from last season’s heartbreak lingers, their friend group faces vicious secrets and destructive behaviors that could tear everyone apart.

New Faces and Familiar Drama

Alongside Van Patten and White, returning cast members include Cat Missal, Spencer House, Sonia Mena, Branden Cook, Alicia Crowder, and Costa D’Angelo.

New this season is Iris Apatow, joining in a recurring role as Amanda, a seemingly bubbly freshman hiding a dark secret.

Hulu announced the release date on Instagram with a photo of a half-eaten cake, the date scrawled across the icing in red — captioned cheekily, “You just can’t stay away, can you? #TellMeLies is back January 13.”
