The highly anticipated sequel to The Devil Wears Prada is officially ramping up its promotional campaign. 20th Century Studios has unveiled a fresh set of posters and stills, offering fans a first look at the returning ensemble and new additions to the cast.
The images confirm the return of Meryl Streep as Miranda Priestly, Anne Hathaway as Andy Sachs, Emily Blunt as Emily Charlton, and Stanley Tucci as Nigel Kipling. The visuals capture the familiar backdrop of Runway Magazine’s offices and fashion-centric locations across New York City.
Additional returning cast members include Tracie Thoms as Lily and Tibor Feldman as Irv, further cementing the film’s ties to the original.
Joining the franchise are Kenneth Branagh, Simone Ashley, Justin Theroux, Lucy Liu, Patrick Brammall, Caleb Hearon, Helen J. Shen, Pauline Chalamet, B.J. Novak, and Conrad Ricamora. Their roles are expected to expand the narrative while maintaining the sharp, fashion-driven tone of the original.
Director David Frankel and writer Aline Brosh McKenna return to helm the sequel, alongside producer Wendy Finerman and executive producers Michael Bederman, Karen Rosenfelt, and McKenna.
The film has been rated PG-13 by the MPAA for some sensuality.
The official trailer, released alongside the posters, features Madonna’s “Vogue” and opens with Nigel quipping, “Well, look what T.J. Maxx dragged in…” The footage reveals Andy Sachs as the new Features Editor at Runway, setting the stage for fresh workplace drama and fashion intrigue.
The original The Devil Wears Prada (2006) was a global box office success, earning $326.5 million worldwide—$124.7 million domestically and $201.8 million internationally. Nearly two decades later, the sequel aims to recapture that cultural impact while introducing new dynamics to the story.
With posters, stills, and a trailer now in circulation, anticipation for The Devil Wears Prada 2 is building rapidly. The film will debut in theaters and IMAX nationwide on May 1, 2026, positioning itself as one of the year’s most stylish releases.
