Universal Studios Hollywood is set to ring in 2026 with EVE, one of Southern California’s most spectacular New Year’s Eve celebrations. The December 31 event transforms the entire theme park into a high-energy party zone complete with fireworks, DJs, themed entertainment, and extended hours until 2 AM.
The celebration begins at 9 PM, giving guests five full hours of attractions, live music, and photo experiences before the midnight countdown. The park’s popular rides, including Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey and Jurassic World – The Ride, remain open until 10 PM for guests with EVE admission.
Unlike traditional New Year’s Eve venues, EVE blends theme park thrills with party entertainment across multiple themed lands. Guests can freely move between the Wizarding World of Harry Potter, Springfield, Universal Plaza, and the Lower Lot—each offering DJs, dance floors, and vibrant celebration zones.
The midnight fireworks show serves as the event’s centerpiece. Choreographed displays ignite the sky above the park, with multiple viewing areas designed to avoid crowding and give every guest a clear view. The atmosphere aims to deliver the excitement of Hollywood combined with the magic of a world-class theme park.
Food and beverage locations remain open with special New Year’s Eve offerings, including themed party menus and celebratory drinks. Universal has also set up multiple photo stations and festive backdrops for guests wanting to capture their final moments of 2025.
With the event continuing until 2 AM, guests have more time to enjoy entertainment after the fireworks. Themed programming includes PEANUTS-inspired sets such as Charlie Brown’s New Year’s Eve Celebration, drawing families and nostalgia-loving visitors into the holiday spirit.
EVE at Universal Studios Hollywood requires a separate ticket for non-pass holders. Prices range from $154 to $329, depending on package and Express Pass privileges. Premium options include one-time priority access to each attraction, enhancing the experience for guests looking to maximize their night.
Annual Passholders with Platinum Passes enjoy complimentary EVE admission. Day visitors can also remain in the park through the nighttime celebrations by upgrading their admission.
Tickets are available through the official Universal Studios Hollywood website, though availability depends on event capacity. With a mix of entertainment, fireworks, and immersive attractions, EVE continues to stand out as one of the region’s most popular New Year’s Eve destinations.
What sets EVE apart is its hybrid format: guests don’t need to choose between rides or parties—Universal combines both. With multiple celebration zones, themed décor, extended hours, and iconic Hollywood energy, the event offers a memorable start to 2026 for families, couples, and theme park fans alike.
