Emotional Trailer for ‘The Voice of Hind Rajab’ Reveals Heart-Stopping Gaza Rescue Story

Willa has released the first trailer for “The Voice of Hind Rajab,” one of the most acclaimed international films of 2025. Directed and written by Kaouther Ben Hania, the movie has already earned global praise and multiple festival honors ahead of its December theatrical release.

The emotionally charged film, inspired by real events, follows Red Crescent volunteers as they work desperately to rescue a six-year-old girl trapped in a car under fire in Gaza. The trailer highlights the film’s intense, claustrophobic tension and its focus on humanity amid conflict.

A Festival Sensation With Historic Ovations

Critics have praised the film for its emotional realism, gripping storytelling, and powerful performances.

A Story Rooted in Real-Life Tragedy

The film draws inspiration from the real case of Hind Rajab, a young girl trapped in Gaza whose pleas for help spread worldwide. Ben Hania’s narrative centers on the Red Crescent responders risking everything to reach her.

The cast includes Saja Kilani, Motaz Malhees, Clara Khoury, and Amer Hlehel, who portray the rescue volunteers and those connected to Hind’s story.

The list of executive producers features several major Hollywood names:

The film is also Tunisia’s official submission for the 98th Academy Awards, further building its awards-season momentum.

Willa, the company behind the film, is known for championing projects with strong cultural and social themes. Its recent productions include:

  • La Cocina
