On Wednesday, David Beckham shared two throwback photos on Instagram Stories. One showed him and Victoria holding Brooklyn in a swimming pool when he was a child, captioned: “27 Today… Happy Birthday Bust, we love you x” with emojis. A second black-and-white photo of David and Brooklyn as a boy carried a similar message, referring to Brooklyn by his nickname “Buster.”
Victoria Beckham also posted birthday wishes, sharing the same swimming pool photo and writing: “Happy birthday Brooklyn, we love you so much,” followed by a red heart emoji. She later added another image of herself with Brooklyn as a toddler, echoing her love and adding multiple heart emojis.
The posts come just weeks after Brooklyn issued a statement on Instagram declaring he did “not want to reconcile” with his parents. He accused them of interfering in his relationship with wife Nicola Peltz and claimed they had tried to control him “for most of my life.”
Brooklyn also alleged that Victoria “hijacked” his first dance with Nicola at their 2022 wedding, describing the moment as inappropriate. The Beckhams have not directly responded to these allegations.
Brooklyn’s younger brother Romeo, 23, acknowledged the birthday with a throwback photo of the two in football kits, though he did not add a caption. Cruz, 21, and Harper, 14, have not publicly commented.
The Beckhams’ birthday tributes suggest they are still reaching out to their son despite the estrangement. Whether the public messages will soften tensions remains unclear, but fans have noted the emotional tone of both David and Victoria’s posts. Brooklyn, meanwhile, continues to focus on his career as a photographer and his marriage to Nicola Peltz, while the Beckham family remains in the spotlight for both their professional and personal lives.
