In a video shared on Instagram, David, 44, bent down to pick up the shimmering blue-winged fish. “Okay, I was gonna grab you… now, putting you back in,” he said as he gently tossed it back into the sea. He credited the unusual moment to the full moon, even panning his camera to capture the glowing sky.
What seemed like a simple act of kindness quickly turned surreal. Seconds after David released the fish, a larger predator devoured it. Shocked, he captioned the clip: “Oh my days. Never expected the ending tho. What a divine message to receive — we can’t control life’s plan.”

I got the life lesson.”
Resort staff later surprised David with a colorful pastry display featuring edible seashells, angel fish, and a replica of the blue flying fish. The dish was inscribed with the words “Beauty in the ocean.”
