Take-Two Interactive has reassured fans that Grand Theft Auto VI is still on track for its highly anticipated launch on November 19, 2026. The confirmation came in the company’s fiscal third-quarter 2026 earnings report, issued on February 3, 2026, which listed the game in its forward-looking product lineup.
Take-Two Chairman and CEO Strauss Zelnick emphasized the importance of GTA 6 to the company’s future. “With ongoing momentum across many of our businesses, and the highly anticipated launch of Grand Theft Auto VI on November 19th, we continue to project record levels of Net Bookings in Fiscal 2027,” Zelnick said. He added that the release is expected to establish a new financial baseline and strengthen profitability.
The earnings filing confirmed GTA 6 will launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, with no mention of PC at this stage. The report also highlighted other strong performers in Take-Two’s portfolio, including NBA 2K26, Grand Theft Auto Online, and Grand Theft Auto V.
The game’s release has been pushed back several times. Initially slated for 2025, GTA 6 was delayed to May 2026 before being rescheduled again to November 19, 2026 in an announcement last November. Despite speculation about further delays, Take-Two’s latest update confirms the date remains unchanged.
As one of the most anticipated titles in gaming history, GTA 6 is expected to drive massive sales and engagement across platforms. The franchise has consistently delivered record-breaking performance, and its next installment is projected to be a cornerstone of Take-Two’s financial success in fiscal 2027.
With the release date reaffirmed, attention now turns to Rockstar Games for further updates on gameplay, trailers, and marketing campaigns. Fans can expect more details to surface as the November 2026 launch approaches.
