Jack Johnson has officially announced his 2026 Surfilmusic North American Tour, marking his first major live tour in three years. The 43-date trek, produced by Live Nation, will run from June through October and blend live music, surf-inspired films, and environmental activism. Fans can expect shows at scenic outdoor venues across the U.S. and Canada. Tickets for the tour go on presale Monday, November 10, with general sales beginning Friday, November 14. The tour aligns with Johnson’s upcoming Surfilmusic documentary and soundtrack, celebrating over two decades of his music career.
The 2026 Surfilmusic Tour will feature special guests Hermanos Gutiérrez, Lake Street Dive, and G. Love on select dates. Johnson co-wrote the soundtrack with Hermanos Gutiérrez and producer Mario Caldato Jr., known for work with the Beastie Boys and Beck. The first single, “Hold On To The Light,” has already been released, providing a preview of the new material.
The tour kicks off June 19 in Gilford, New Hampshire, and concludes October 11 with two nights at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles. Other stops include Toronto, Chicago, Nashville, Austin, and Santa Barbara. Iconic venues such as The Gorge Amphitheatre, the Greek Theatre, and Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre are on the schedule.
Johnson’s environmental initiatives continue, with Reverb partnering to minimize the tour’s footprint. The “Village Green” at each venue will showcase non-profits and eco-friendly campaigns, and ticket proceeds will support local environmental organizations via the Johnson ʻOhana Foundation.
“After three years away from the road, I’m thrilled to bring the Surfilmusic experience to fans again,” Johnson said in a statement. “This tour combines my love for music, surf films, and sustainability, reflecting the journey I’ve shared with the community over the years.”
Analysts note that Johnson’s focus on multimedia performances and eco-conscious initiatives could set a new standard for concert tours. Live Nation representative Sarah Coleman added, “Fans can expect a highly immersive experience where music, storytelling, and environmental awareness meet.”
