Cuoco herself confirmed that Vanished is a closed story: “It’s all tied up in a bow,” she told USA TODAY. Still, the dramatic exit has sparked speculation about whether Alice and Tom could reunite in a future season. Thompson teased: “Maybe we can do it again, and they get back together. Who knows?”
