অনিল দেবগন রাজু চাচা, ব্ল্যাকমেল এবং হাল-ই-দিলের মতো চলচ্চিত্র পরিচালনার জন্য পরিচিত ছিলেন। অজয় দেবগন অভিনীত সন অফ সারদার (Son of Sardaar) মুভিতে অনিল দেবগন সৃজনশীল পরিচালক হিসেবে কাজ করেছিলেন। এছাড়াও তিনি সহকারী পরিচালক হিসেবে ফুল অর কাটে, জান, ইতিহাস এবং প্যার তোহ হোনা হি থা এর মতো ছবিতে তাঁর কেরিয়ার শুরু করেছিলেন।
