Brittany Cartwright is setting the record straight about her recent encounter with Lisa Vanderpump at BravoCon 2025. The Valley star admitted she felt hurt that Vanderpump hadn’t reached out during her messy split from Jax Taylor, but when the two finally crossed paths, the moment was far from awkward.
Brittany Felt Hurt Over Silence
Cartwright previously revealed she hadn’t heard from Vanderpump during her separation from Taylor, despite their long history together on Vanderpump Rules and The Valley. The lack of communication left her feeling disappointed.
The BravoCon Run-In
On her podcast When Reality Hits, Cartwright shared that she and Vanderpump hadn’t seen each other in “a long time.” When they finally met at BravoCon, Brittany asked how she was doing. Vanderpump responded warmly, telling Brittany she was a “warrior.”
Cartwright said the exchange made her feel good, adding: “It wasn’t weird. It wasn’t anything awkward like that.”
Lisa Vanderpump’s Perspective
Vanderpump later admitted she greeted Brittany as she always does but hadn’t realized Brittany had made comments about her absence. “I hadn’t heard that she said something nasty about me,” Vanderpump said.
Cartwright clapped back on her podcast, insisting she wasn’t being mean. “I was just stating what happened,” she explained.
Support From Ken Todd
Cartwright also noted that Vanderpump’s husband Ken Todd was present during the BravoCon run-in. She described him as “so nice,” adding that he was there with their dog, which made the moment even more pleasant.
Moving Forward
Despite past tension, Cartwright and Vanderpump’s BravoCon meeting ended on a positive note. Vanderpump praised Cartwright for how she’s handling life after her split, saying she was proud of her progress.
Fans can catch Vanderpump back in action when Vanderpump Rules Season 12 premieres on Tuesday, December 2 at 9/8c on Bravo, with next-day streaming available on Peacock.
