Racing Bulls driver Liam Lawson’s long-term partner, Hannah St John, turned heads at the 2026 Glamour on the Grid event in Melbourne. She wore a one-of-a-kind diamond necklace valued at approximately USD $350,000, designed to resemble the outlines of Formula 1 tracks.
The piece, called La Velocita, was created by Adelaide-based bespoke jeweler Martin Rogers. At first glance, the necklace looks like a tangle of diamonds, but closer inspection reveals each section is shaped like an F1 circuit.
Craftsmanship and Value
According to fashion insiders, the necklace contains around 1,800 diamonds totaling 25 carats. It required between 250 and 300 hours of handcraft to complete. The intricate design and sheer scale of the piece make it one of the most unique jewelry items ever worn at an F1 event.
Glamour on the Grid
The Glamour on the Grid event is held annually ahead of the Australian Grand Prix. This year’s theme was Precious Metals, and St John’s necklace fit perfectly. Guests were chauffeured down the main straight before heading to the Paddock Club for curated dining, performances, and activations.
St John shared her excitement on Instagram, writing: “Felt like an absolute princess. And thank you to the amazing team that put this together @ampr_group.”
Fan Reactions
Fans quickly flooded social media with praise for the necklace. Comments included: “The necklace is AMAZING,” and “Woahhsss not the F1 circuit necklace omggg.” Many described it as both a piece of art and a fashion statement, cementing St John’s place as one of the standout figures at the glamorous event.
