Inside the Festive ‘Today’ Segment She Was Watching
Kotb’s photo was taken during a spirited holiday segment in which Guthrie, Craig Melvin, Al Roker, Carson Daly, and Jenna Bush Hager spread Christmas cheer throughout 30 Rockefeller Center. Inspired by the staff’s miniature office tree — affectionately called the “Tree on Three” — the group delivered small decorated trees to NBC colleagues throughout the building.
Their holiday stops included:
NBC 4 New York
NBC Pages
NBC Nightly News with Tom Llamas
Kelly Clarkson’s 30 Rock office
In one funny exchange, Roker shouted to Tom Llamas,
“This is Christmas, Llamas!”
Clarkson revealed she had no decorations yet, telling the group, “I don’t have any, y’all. I’m so sad.” The hosts helped decorate her office before continuing their festive mission.
Kotb herself recently reunited with Guthrie and Roker to cohost the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade on November 27.
