Jimmy Eat World is marking a major milestone in 2026. The Arizona rock band will celebrate the 25th anniversary of their breakthrough album Bleed American with an extensive tour that kicks off June 9 at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Denver and concludes November 15 in Orlando, Florida, as part of the revived Vans Warped Tour.
A Landmark Album
Released on July 24, 2001, Bleed American propelled Jimmy Eat World into mainstream success. The record is best remembered for its smash single “The Middle,” which has now surpassed one billion streams on Spotify. Frontman Jim Adkins once admitted the track came together quickly and wasn’t expected to resonate so deeply, but it became the band’s defining anthem.
Tour Highlights
The anniversary tour will feature the band performing the album in full. Alongside U.S. dates, Jimmy Eat World will play their biggest U.K. show ever on August 16 at London’s Gunnersbury Park, with a capacity of 20,000. The lineup of supporting acts reads like a festival bill, including Sunny Day Real Estate, Rise Against, Thrice, Motion City Soundtrack, Hot Mulligan, Minus the Bear, Sparta, The Get Up Kids, PUP, Illuminati Hotties, and more. The band will also appear at all five dates of the Vans Warped Tour revival.
Elevated Live Experience
In announcing the tour, Adkins promised fans a heightened production: “This tour is designed to be an elevated version of our show — a heightened experience with production that reflects 25 years of learning how to stretch artistically in the live environment.”
Legacy of Bleed American
Originally released by DreamWorks, the album was temporarily retitled as self-titled in the wake of the September 11 attacks. Despite the change, its impact was undeniable. The record blended emo, punk, and alternative rock into a sound that defined the early 2000s and continues to influence new generations of bands. With this anniversary tour, Jimmy Eat World is not only revisiting their past but also reaffirming their place as one of the most enduring rock acts of the last quarter century.
