Kanye West, also known as Ye, is set to make his long-awaited return to Europe with a one-night-only concert at GelreDome in Arnhem, the Netherlands, on 6 June.
A Rare Comeback
The show marks West’s first European live concert since 2014 and his first in the Netherlands since 2013. Concert organizer J.Noah Live described the event as “a rare and unmissable moment for Ye’s fans,” promising it will be far from a standard performance.
The GelreDome spokesperson added: “We look forward to welcoming Ye to GelreDome. This is an event of international scale and a special moment for Dutch audiences. We expect significant demand.”
More European Dates Planned
The Arnhem concert will be the first stop in a limited run of European shows. A second date has already been confirmed for Reggio Emilia, Italy, on 18 July, with further performances expected to be announced soon.
Recent Activity
Although West has not performed a full European concert in more than a decade, he has hosted listening parties for his Vultures albums with Ty Dolla $ign in 2023 and 2024. His Sunday Service gospel choir also performed in Paris in 2020.
Controversy and Apology
West’s career has faced turbulence in recent years due to antisemitic and racist remarks that cost him major business deals. In January, he published a full-page apology in The Wall Street Journal to Jewish and Black communities, attributing his past behavior to bipolar disorder and a car accident that he said damaged his frontal lobe.
Speaking to Vanity Fair, West insisted his apology was not about reviving his commercial appeal but about genuine remorse.
Upcoming Album
His next album, Bully, has faced multiple delays but is now scheduled for release on 20 March. The Arnhem concert is expected to build anticipation for the project.
Ticket Sales
Tickets for the GelreDome show go on general sale this Friday, with organizers predicting high demand.
