While chatting with co-host Hannah Simone (Cece Parekh on New Girl), Morris suddenly declared: “Imma go date Nasim.” He then called Pedrad mid-show, putting her on speaker. When she picked up, Morris told her: “I’m just gonna date Nasim in real life. So what’s up?”
Pedrad, who played Aly Nelson—Winston’s LAPD partner and eventual love interest—responded with humor and curiosity. “Are you asking me out on a date?” she asked. Morris clarified: “Not a date. More like let’s just be boyfriend-girlfriend.”
