Liverpool Twins Turn Truth-or-Dare Pranks Into Full-Time Dream Careers

For twins Louise and Lyndsey Scott, practical jokes were never just a phase. From pranking relatives as children to daring strangers in public as adults, the Liverpool sisters have transformed their love of mischief into a full-time career in online entertainment. Now 26, the twins have officially quit their hospitality jobs after the success of their truth-or-dare social media series, which has amassed more than 28 million views across platforms in just over a year.

“It’s amazing and the best thing ever,” Lyndsey said. “Now we can put 100% of our time into this. It feels like the time is right.”

Childhood Ambitions on a Blow-Up Couch

The sisters’ passion for entertainment began early. At the age of nine, they filmed The Twin Show on a blow-up couch in their bedroom, dreaming of one day working in television.

“We always knew we wanted to be in the entertainment realm,” Louise said. “We grew up watching Ant and Dec, so performing and making people laugh felt natural to us.”

Despite their ambitions, the path into TV presenting felt out of reach. With no industry contacts, no budget, and full-time jobs, the traditional route seemed impossible.

“We had no idea how to even get into TV,” Lyndsey explained. “There was no access into that world for people like us.”

Social Media Changes the Game

That changed when the twins turned to social media. Inspired by creators such as Amelia Dimoldenberg, they saw an opportunity to build their own platform without gatekeepers. The solution was simple and bold: take truth-or-dare out onto the streets.

“We thought, how can we combine our own show with fun pranks?” Lyndsey said. “So we started pestering the public — putting strangers up to ridiculous truth-and-dares.”

The format resonated instantly. The sisters’ energetic banter, fearless challenges, and natural chemistry quickly attracted attention on Instagram and TikTok, where their videos are posted under @lyndseyandlouise.

From Strangers to Celebrities

What began with unsuspecting members of the public has since evolved. The twins now regularly feature celebrity guests, expanding their audience while keeping the playful, unscripted tone that made the series popular.

“Our aim in life is always to have fun,” Louise said. “So why not encourage strangers — and celebrities — to do the same?”

The sisters say their background in hospitality helped prepare them for public interaction, rejection, and quick thinking — all essential skills for street-based content creation.

A New Kind of Entertainment Career

For Louise and Lyndsey, their success represents more than viral numbers. It’s proof that modern entertainment careers don’t need traditional entry points. From filming childhood shows on a couch to building a global audience online, the Liverpool twins have carved out their own route — one prank at a time. And judging by their momentum, they’re only just getting started.
