Fans of Yellowstone don’t have to say goodbye to the Dutton family just yet. Luke Grimes returns as Kayce Dutton in Marshals, the highly anticipated CBS spinoff that premiered on March 1.
The Story
Set after the events of Yellowstone, Kayce joins a U.S. Marshals unit in Montana. The series follows him and his teammates as they balance family, duty, and the psychological toll of serving as the last line of defense in a region plagued by violence.
Grimes admitted he was hesitant about reprising the role after the flagship series ended in 2024. But once the spinoff idea was pitched, he was convinced it offered a compelling new direction for Kayce’s journey.
