The Duchess of Sussex will headline a luxury three-day retreat for women in Sydney this April, with tickets starting at £1,400 per person.
Organized by the Her Best Life podcast, the event promises “a girls’ weekend like no other” at a five-star hotel on Coogee Beach. Around 300 women are expected to attend. VIP packages, priced at £1,700, include front-row seats at a gala dinner and a group photo with Meghan.
A Fireside Chat with Meghan
Podcast founder Gemma O’Neill confirmed the event, describing it as a small, intimate gathering. She revealed that Meghan agreed to participate after a mutual friend connected them. “She’s effectively doing this as a favour,” O’Neill said, praising Meghan’s resilience and commitment to supporting women.
The retreat will feature a fireside chat between Meghan and O’Neill, alongside wellness activities such as yoga, sound healing, meditation, and manifestation sessions. A psychologist will also deliver talks, and evenings will include a disco for attendees to unwind.
Return to Australia
This marks Meghan and Prince Harry’s first visit to Australia since 2018, when their 16-day royal tour was hailed a success. At the time, Meghan’s pregnancy was announced just before the trip, and the couple enjoyed widespread popularity.
Since then, the Sussexes have stepped down as senior royals, relocated to the United States, and pursued media and philanthropic ventures. Their Netflix deal, signed in 2020, recently ended after Meghan’s lifestyle series With Love, Meghan struggled to attract audiences.
Private Engagements
A spokesperson confirmed the couple’s April trip will include “private, business and philanthropic engagements.” While Harry’s strained relationship with the Royal Family has been widely discussed, Meghan’s Sydney retreat signals her focus on women’s empowerment and lifestyle initiatives.
