Melanie Hamrick, fiancée of Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger, has revealed she was left “shaken” after being physically attacked outside a London club. The former ballerina, 38, shared the incident in a now-deleted Instagram Stories post on February 10. Hamrick said she was grabbed by two people from behind at Annabel’s, a private members club in Mayfair.
Hamrick Speaks Out
“This is incredibly hard to share — but I was physically attacked at @annabelsmayfair tonight,” Hamrick wrote. She added, “Two people grabbed me from behind and thank god for good people who stepped in to help me.”
Hamrick expressed gratitude to her friends for protecting her during the ordeal. “I’m shaken, sad and heartbroken that people can treat each other this way,” she concluded.
Police and Club Response
Annabel’s, the Metropolitan Police, and representatives for Jagger have not yet commented on the incident. U.K. newspaper The Sun reported the attack may have been an “opportunist mugging.”
Relationship with Mick Jagger
Hamrick and Jagger, 82, have been together since 2014. They welcomed their son, Deveraux, in 2016. In April 2025, Hamrick confirmed the couple had been engaged for “two or three years.”
Despite their high-profile relationship, the pair often keep their private life out of the spotlight. Hamrick occasionally shares family moments on social media, including a heartfelt post celebrating Deveraux’s ninth birthday in December 2025.
A Private Life Interrupted
Hamrick’s revelation highlights the vulnerability even public figures face in everyday settings. While she has since deleted her post, her words resonated with followers who expressed concern and support.
The couple currently resides in France with their son. Jagger, who has eight children, continues to balance his legendary music career with family life. As of now, no further details have been released about the attack, and it remains unclear whether police are investigating.
