Paris Hilton is proving that motherhood and a nonstop career can coexist. The heiress, entrepreneur, and reality star recently opened up about how her two children, Phoenix, 3, and London, 2, keep her energized even as she juggles a packed schedule.
A Pre-Grammys Revelation
Speaking exclusively to PEOPLE at a pre-Grammys gala in Beverly Hills, Hilton, 44, reflected on her whirlwind life while promoting her new documentary Infinite Icon: A Visual Memoir. The film traces her journey from tabloid fascination to cultural icon.
“It’s been a lot. It’s been nonstop,” Hilton admitted. “I’ve been all over and I just love what I do. My babies give me energy, so just being with them and cuddling with them makes me feel lucky and energized.”
Motherhood’s Transformative Power
Hilton has long described motherhood as life-changing. In her documentary, she calls it “the most beautiful thing I have ever experienced,” adding that the love she feels for her children is “so deep, it changes you forever.”
She affectionately refers to Phoenix and London as her “cutesie crew,” saying every smile and cuddle feels like “pure magic.” According to Hilton, her children have given her life “a new kind of sparkle — one that’s deeper, softer, and so full of love it takes my breath away.”
A Journey to Family
Hilton revealed that before meeting her husband Carter Reum, she had considered becoming a single mother. She froze her eggs, determined to build a family on her own terms. “I was like, ‘I don’t need a man. I’m successful. I can support a family,’” she recalls in the film. Her love story with Reum blossomed after 15 years of friendship. Hilton says letting go of past pain allowed her to make space for “real love.” Together, they now share two children and a life built on trust and resilience.
Looking Ahead
While Hilton has hinted at the possibility of expanding her family, she isn’t rushing. “Never say never,” she told Extra in January. “I love babies so much. Sometimes I think about it, but they’re so perfect, and I love that I have a boy and a girl. So, I don’t know. We’ll see what happens.” For now, Hilton is embracing the balance between her career and motherhood, crediting Phoenix and London for giving her the energy to shine both on stage and at home.
