Pushpa 2 Day 1 Box Office: Allu Arjun’s Film Earns 180 Crore, Surpasses Jawan
Allu Arjun and director Sukumar’s much-anticipated film Pushpa 2: The Rule has delivered a monumental global opening. In India alone, the film earned a staggering ₹180 crore nett, making it the biggest opener of all time. It also surpassed Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan to become the highest Hindi opener in history. Including international numbers, the film reportedly achieved a gross opening of 200 crore on its first day.

According to tracking website Sacnilk, Pushpa 2 earned 180 crore nett in India on Day 1, including 10.1 crore from special premiere shows held on December 4 in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Bengaluru.
On Thursday, the sequel earned ₹165 crore nett:
– Telugu version: 85 crore
– Hindi version: 72 crore (beating *Jawan’s* 64 crore record)
– Tamil version: 7 crore
– Malayalam version: 5 crore
Trade analyst Ramesh Bala highlighted on social media that the film has become India’s all-time Day 1 opener. Early estimates suggest Pushpa 2 could surpass SS Rajamouli’s RRR, which earned 223 crore on its first day globally. Official numbers from the production house are awaited to confirm these predictions.
