The Cure frontman Robert Smith has unveiled a star-studded lineup for the 2026 Teenage Cancer Trust concert series, marking his first year as curator of the iconic fundraising event. The week-long residency will take place at London’s Royal Albert Hall, beginning March 23, 2026, and will feature a powerhouse mix of legendary rock acts, modern indie icons and top comedians.

Smith takes over curation duties from Roger Daltrey of The Who, who oversaw the charity’s annual concert series for more than two decades. The Cure previously performed at the event in 2006 and 2014, but this marks the first time Smith has shaped the full lineup.

A Week of Unmissable Live Performances

The 2026 schedule includes a wide array of artists across multiple genres:

March 23: Elbow and MRCY open the series
March 24: Comedy night featuring Maisie Adam, Bridget Christie, Jack Dee, Andy Hamilton, Dom Jolly, and more
March 25: Mogwai and Craven Faults with special guest Annika Kilkenny
March 26: Manic Street Preachers and The Joy Formidable
March 27: My Bloody Valentine and a stripped-back set from CHVRCHES
March 28: Garbage with a rare acoustic set from Placebo, celebrating their 30th anniversary
March 29: Wolf Alice headlining, with Nilüfer Yanya supporting

The impressive selection highlights Smith’s influence across alternative rock and indie generations, bringing together both pioneering acts and rising talents for a full week of fundraising performances.

Robert Smith Promises a “Run of Shows to Dream About”

In his announcement, Smith emphasized both the emotional and cultural importance of the event.

“Teenage Cancer Trust does absolutely amazing work, and I am very proud they asked me to be ‘Cureator’ of their March 2026 concerts at the RAH,” Smith said. “I wanted to make it a truly unforgettable, unmissable week — and I am so grateful to all the artists who accepted my invitation.”

Smith added that every act on the schedule is “either legendary or at the top of their game,” promising a unique concert experience unlike any previous year.

Tickets & Event Details

All concerts will take place at Royal Albert Hall, with general-sale tickets available Friday, December 12 at 9 a.m. Fans can also enter giveaways for the chance to win tickets.

The annual Teenage Cancer Trust shows raise millions to support young people facing cancer across the U.K., funding specialized units, nurses and emotional care programs.

With an extraordinary lineup and Smith’s creative leadership, this year’s series is expected to be one of the most memorable in the charity’s history.
