Wes Anderson’s Cinematographer Robert Yeoman Wins Lifetime Achievement Award

The American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) will honor acclaimed cinematographer Robert Yeoman with the prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award, celebrating his decades-long contributions to cinematic artistry and visual storytelling. The award will be presented during the 40th Annual ASC Outstanding Achievement in Cinematography Gala on March 8, 2026, at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills. The ceremony will stream globally, marking a milestone year for the organization.

Celebrating a Visionary Career

Yeoman is best known for his long-standing collaboration with director Wes Anderson, helping define the filmmaker’s signature visual style. Their creative partnership began with Bottle Rocket (1996) and continued through many of Anderson’s most beloved titles, including Rushmore (1998), The Royal Tenenbaums (2001), The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (2004), The Darjeeling Limited (2007), Moonrise Kingdom (2012), The Grand Budapest Hotel (2014), The French Dispatch (2021) and Asteroid City (2023).

Yeoman first gained industry recognition for Gus Van Sant’s 1989 cult classic Drugstore Cowboy, which earned critical acclaim and helped launch his career as one of Hollywood’s most respected cinematographers.
