দীর্ঘ বিরতির পর লীনা গঙ্গোপাধ্যায় (Leena Ganguly)-এর ‘দেশের মাটি’ সিরিয়ালের মাধ্যমে আবারও ছোট পর্দায় কামব্যাক করতে চলেছেন সৈরিতী ব্যানার্জী (sairiti banerjee)। ‘দেশের মাটি’-তে অত্যন্ত গুরুত্বপূর্ণ চরিত্রে দেখা যাবে সৈরিতীকে। তাঁর বাবার ভূমিকায় অভিনয় করছেন শঙ্কর চক্রবর্তী (shankar chakraborty)। এই মুহূর্তে ‘দেশের মাটি’ সিরিয়ালের প্রোমো দেখে মনে হচ্ছে কিয়ানের তুতো দিদির ভূমিকায় থাকছেন সৈরিতী। সৈরিতীর আগমন সিরিয়ালে আনতে চলেছে নতুন টুইস্ট।
‘নাগলীলা’ ধারাবাহিকের মাধ্যমে অভিনেত্রী হিসাবে টেলিটাউনে ডেবিউ করেন সৈরিতী। এরপর ‘ঠিক যেন লাভ স্টোরি’ সিরিয়ালে অভিনয় করে জনপ্রিয় হয়ে ওঠেন সৈরিতী। এই সিরিয়ালে সৈরিতীর বিপরীতে অভিনয় করেছিলেন নীল ভট্টাচার্য (Nil bhattacharya)। এরপর ‘বাক্সবদল’ ধারাবাহিকে ‘টিপ’ চরিত্রে সৈরিতীর অভিনয় নজর কেড়েছিল।
কেরিয়ারের পিক-এ থাকাকালীন 2014 সালে রোহিত (Rohit)-কে বিয়ে করেন সৈরিতী। এরপর ‘নিশির ডাক’ ধারাবাহিকে অভিনয় করছিলেন সৈরিতী। কিন্তু অন্তঃসত্ত্বা হওয়ার ফলে ‘নিশির ডাক’ ছেড়ে দেন তিনি। 2020 সালের জুন মাসে সৈরিতী ও রোহিতের কন্যাসন্তান দিবিজা (Dibija)-র জন্ম হয়।
