Taylor Sheridan’s latest series, The Madison, debuts on Paramount+ this Saturday, March 14, at 3 a.m. ET/12 a.m. PT. The six-episode drama stars Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell, marking their first on-screen collaboration since Tequila Sunrise in 1988.
A Story of Family and Connection
Unlike Sheridan’s neo-Western Yellowstone universe, The Madison stands alone. The series unfolds across Montana’s sweeping landscapes and Manhattan’s bustling energy. Paramount+ describes it as “a heartfelt study of grief and human connection,” centered on the Clyburn family. Pfeiffer plays matriarch Stacy Clyburn, while Russell portrays her husband, Preston.
Star-Studded Ensemble Cast
The series also features Beau Garrett, Patrick J. Adams, Amiah Miller, Matthew Fox, Kevin Zegers, and more. Sheridan calls The Madison his “most intimate work to date,” exploring the ties that bind families together.
Reunion After Nearly Four Decades
For Pfeiffer and Russell, the project is a special reunion. “I would love to work with Kurt anytime, but it was so exciting because he’s so perfect for Preston,” Pfeiffer told TV Insider. Russell echoed the sentiment: “We did have a good time working together years ago.”
How to Watch The Madison
The first three episodes stream exclusively on Paramount+. The platform offers two subscription tiers:
- Essential (ad-supported): $8.99/month or $89.99/year
- Premium (ad-free): $13.99/month or $139.99/year
New subscribers can sign up directly through Paramount+ to catch the premiere.
Sheridan Expands His Legacy
Sheridan has built a reputation for creating compelling dramas, from Yellowstone to Mayor of Kingstown. With The Madison, he shifts focus to a more personal narrative, blending family drama with sweeping visuals. As Pfeiffer and Russell reunite, The Madison promises to be one of the most talked-about premieres of 2026.
