The producers of the 2026 Academy Awards have revealed the performers set to bring two Oscar-nominated songs to life at the ceremony. Huntr/x and Sammie Moore will headline performances inspired by KPop Demon Hunters and Sinners, two films that have captivated audiences worldwide.

KPop Demon Hunters Tribute

Ejae, Audrey Nuna, and Rei Ami — the singing voices behind Huntr/x — will perform “Golden,” the nominated original song from KPop Demon Hunters. The performance will blend traditional Korean instruments with modern dance, celebrating the folklore and cultural roots that inspired the animated blockbuster.

Sinners Celebration

Miles Caton and Raphael Saadiq will perform “I Lied To You,” the nominated song from Sinners. They will be joined by an ensemble of acclaimed artists including Misty Copeland, Buddy Guy, Brittany Howard, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Eric Gales, Bobby Rush, Shaboozey, Alice Smith, Jayme Lawson, and Li Jun Li. The performance will pay homage to the film’s striking visual style.

Expanding the Ceremony

Josh Groban and the Los Angeles Master Chorale will also appear during the show, adding to the musical lineup. Producers Raj Kapoor and Katy Mullan emphasized that these performances are designed as cinematic tributes, not just musical numbers. “These show moments expand into tributes that celebrate the relationship between music and storytelling,” they said.

Other Nominees

While only two songs will be performed live, the other three Best Song nominees — “Dear Me” from Diane Warren: Relentless, “Sweet Dreams of Joy” from Viva Verdi, and “Train Dreams” from Train Dreams — will be featured in pre-taped segments.

Ceremony Details

Hosted by Conan O’Brien, the Oscars will air live on ABC and stream on Hulu on Sunday, March 15, 2026, at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT. The red carpet show begins at 6:30 p.m. ET/3:30 p.m. PT.
