At 81, Elliott has joined the cast of Grendel, a live-action adaptation of John Gardner’s 1971 novel that retells the Beowulf epic from the monster’s perspective.
An All-Star Cast
The film boasts a powerhouse lineup. Jeff Bridges will portray Grendel, Bryan Cranston takes on King Hrothgar, and Dave Bautista stars as Beowulf. Elliott will voice The Dragon, a role perfectly suited to his legendary gravelly drawl.
